The more civilization advances, the more blurry human identity becomes. The only identity we have is the memories we created in the world we’ve been living in the memories of modern people are a mere collection of images in today’s sophisticated world.
The Digital Mandala series explores the meaning of the time in which humans’ identity fades away, as well as the meaning of a new period and human nature by combining images, which are our memories and records.
문명이 발달 할 수록 인간의 정체성은 희미해져만 간다.
우리에게 남은 우리의 정체성은 우리가 존재해온 세계에서 우리가 만들어온 기억 뿐이다. 고도화된 세계 속에서 현대인의 기억은, 이미지의 집합에 불과하다.
Digital-Mandala 시리즈는 인간의 정체성이 사라져 가는 시대의 의미를 , 우리의 기억이자 기록인이미지들의 조합을 통해 새로운 시대의 , 새로운 인간성의 의미를 탐구하는 작업이다.
